Monday night, (May 16, 2016, 6 pm - 8 pm) shorts & salute to Prince George’s County Filmmakers. Acclaimed Greenbelt filmmaker Susan Gervasi, who is also the Co-Director of Greenbelt’s Utopia Film Festival, will be honored on opening night for her work to promote independent media.

Tuesday night (May 17, 2016, 6 pm - 8 pm) shorts & The Prince George's Memory Project:Creating our Legacy with Home Movies & Photos

This interactive community Project is at the forefront of helping to promote the positive awesomeness of the County. Audience members are invited to bring their photos from Prince George’s to digitize (4 - 5:30 pm) prior to the program.

Saturday Family Day

Animation for Everyone (10:30 am - noon) Curators: Mister Geo and Ola Betiku

Student Film Program and Awards Ceremony, (1 pm - 4 pm) features films by students (K - 12 and university level), who create short projects that cover everything from the joy of dating to cultural appropriation. Suitland HighSchool, The Sherman Indian High School working with Arts 4 Justice, and Gava Gate, are a few of the participating educational institutions. The Awards Ceremony for Outstanding Student Filmmakers follows the screenings. A “Meet the Filmmakers” reception concludes the Festival.
