ABOUT
The Heritage Film Festival is a community-based, volunteer-driven, free event that brings together short films of all genres from novice and seasoned filmmakers to celebrate independent media. Screenings, which are usually in Prince George's County, Maryland, are now virtual. This year's Festival is one month long (21 October - 17 November 2021). Admission to all events is free. Usually, we encourage audience members to bring non-perishable food items for donation to a local food pantry. Because this year's Festival is online, we encourage viewers to contribute food items or volunteer at a local food pantry.

PRE-FESTIVAL TEASERS
July 23 - September 23
For each of the three months before the Festival, films from the 2020 Heritage Film Festival will screen. Each of these one-time screenings will feature one or more films, followed by a Q&A with the Director(s) and a Moderator who will discuss the film(s) with the Director(s).

TESTIMONIALS

Their presentation was very professional and easy to register for other to watch. I thank you for choosing my film The Curator to be ran among the other films in your 2020 festival. I watched every film from the first day up until Saturday. It was truly a great experience. Thank you.
